ProTennisFam empowers tennis pros and prospects by transforming the fans into a web3 community of tennis benefactors invested in their future success.
Despite being one of the most popular sports in the world, making it in the world of Tennis still seems like one of the most challenging feats a professional athlete could take on due to the expensive nature of the sport.
Like it or not, a crucial factor for success in the world of tennis is access to stable funding and despite top players raking in millions of dollars in career earnings, many prospects and pros climbing up the ranks struggle to make ends meet. In addition to that, the slow digitalization of this very traditional sport seems to be robbing fans and players of more ways to connect with each other and build valuable social capital.
We at PTF, believe that tennis should not only be more accessible for underprivileged athletes but should be more inclusive for fans so that they feel involved in the progress and ultimately the success of their favorite players, which is why we teamed up with Borna Coric to create a project by tennis fam for tennis fam.
What is ProTennisFam?
ProTennisFam is a patronage-oriented Web3 tennis collection(s), community, and platform (dApp) built on Ethereum to help discover, support, and develop emerging prospects and established professionals on-chain via the PTF Launchpad and Recruitment Protocol Framework.
PTF technology empowers tennis pros and prospects by transforming the fans into a web3 community of tennis benefactors invested in their future success — Players get the option of fractionalizing a share of their projected winnings, Prospects get to develop their game without having to worry about funding, and Fans get to be involved in their development and own a share of their future success.
The project aims to democratize and decentralize the development of tennis pros and prospects by enabling the fans to own a share of their success in return for providing them with fairer sponsorship opportunities and access to an on-chain network of fans and professionals who have a vested interest in seeing them succeed, much like a family would.
How Does It Work?
ProTennisFam utilizes Ethereum blockchain technology to create a fairer, more transparent on-chain infrastructure for the development of elite tennis talent while creating a sustainable ecosystem of tennis professionals, fans, and experts in a security-compliant manner.
Leveraging the power of web3, ProTennisFam enables its Genesis collection holders to participate in the building of the future of tennis via the token-gated PTF Platform / Launchpad along with its respective recruitment Protocol Frameworks:
- PTF Prospect Protocol — dedicated to discovering and supporting young tennis prospects via NFTs on their road to the professional circuit
- PTF Pro Protocol — dedicated to the NFT Fractionalization of projected prize money earnings of a specific tennis professional
By taking advantage of the platform, up-and-coming prospects can secure the funding necessary to develop their game, while established professionals can ensure a share of their earnings, putting them in a better position to compete.
At the same time, fans are given a fair chance to back the future stars of the sport, share their success, and become a member of the PTF Family which comes with its own set of perks like full dApp access, exclusive content, IRL events, and much much more.
Wen launch?
The ProTennisFam Genesis NFT Drop will be a limited tennis-themed anime-style PFP NFT collection that will provide token-gated access to the PTF Platform and Launchpad.
The Genesis drop is scheduled for Q1 2023 and will be minted on the Ethereum network with the first player editions fractionalizing projected 2023 ATP Earnings from some of the game’s favorites.
