If we do not break this cycle, you can easily see capitalism being replaced by a stagnant neo-feudalism.

I think there’s little evidence that this isn’t already (and always has been) the case, neo-feudalism. We all tend to couple economic activity to technological advancement, similar to what you explained earlier about the expectation that high technology is supposed to remove low-skill work and increase demand for the high skilled work. But this coupling of the two together is an error I think. Technology has *always* advanced the human cause so this isn’t some effect of capitalism. And when we think about what that implies, the question arises as to what is the actual function of capitalism. And that answer is to transfer *wealth* (land and technology) to individuals. Feudalism had a similar mechanism, but refers to an institution where government and economic activity are coupled (monarchs own all the land and technology in their realm). One could argue that capitalism was the result of divorcing government from the economy. Capitalism can be described as neo-fuedalism; a kind of feudalism without kings and queens.
