Why I’m Going to the White House Today
Jennifer Pahlka

I submit that the root of our problems is the increasing nationalization of everything. People look to the Federal Government for global solutions for the individual or collective, or as a problem in and of itself, or as a joke, or as a building on fire. What if fed.gov was just a small, focused entity doing very few basic things, leaving people to live their lives.

I would be far more impressed to read an article about how a person declined an invitation to the White House in order to remain focused on the more important — fill in the blank — could be business, family, community, paint a painting, etc.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?
