Part 1: The story of my life in 100 words

Good, better, best. That’s always what I’m looking for in my life. I always want to improve in what I’m doing. For instance, I run cross country and track, and I’m always looking to be faster than the person in front of me. In addition to those activities, I have a pet bunny who never stops running away. Add on my brother, sister, and homework and that’s a full day. Not only am I an athlete, I love to read and watch movies. My favorite genre to read is adventure because the characters are always trying to be their best.

Part 3: My Favorite Song

Fight Song is important to me because when I’m really down I listen to it and it instantly makes me feel better. Also, when I run I have songs that run through my head, and this one makes me feel the best.

Part 4: Me at 9:00

This is a snapshot of me playing on my phone and watching TV with my parents.

Part 5: What I Spend Time Doing

This is a picture of me reading. I spend a lot of time reading many different books.

Part 6: My Inspirations

John Green is one of my inspirations because his books are so impactful and I just enjoy reading them. Also, he always continues to learn and shows that it is fun, which makes me want to learn more.

Evan Jager is also one of my inspirations because he is just one amazing athlete. He was the first American to ever win a medal in the steeplechase race in track and field. He just always keeps going and always keeps trying to be better.

Let me just say, Emma Coburn is one amazing athlete and person. At the 2017 world championships in London she won the women’s steeplechase race, beating the world record holder in the event. Her teammate placed second, in a race where neither woman was expected to win. They both, however, overcame all odds and ran a new American record. Emma just shows that you can do anything you put your mind to.

Part 7: My Dream

Although not likely, my dream is to make it to the Olympics someday. I’ve dreamed about this ever since I began running seven years ago. I would want to compete in the marathon or one of the longer distance track events. The part that I mostly dream about is opening ceremony, which shows people what the culture of the country that the Olympics are held in. To me, that’s the coolest part about what the Olympic experience would be.
