After a mysterious disturbance in Stargaze Quadrant, The Royal House Xel’Luna has decreed all Citizens must stand by for an upgrade.
A group of Citizens are eagerly waiting in a large, dimly lit room to be selected for an incredible opportunity: the chance to upgrade themselves at the Recombination Center. The selection process is highly competitive, and only the most prepared Citizens are guaranteed to have themselves upgraded. As they waited, the tension in the room was palpable. Some of the citizens chatted nervously with one another, while others sat quietly, lost in their own thoughts.
The Citizens project continues with its third major instalment and long awaited utility with the newest Campaign “Keep Calm & Upgrade”.
A cross project collaborative utility that allows users to create A.I versions of their favourite avatars with the PS Labs team.
The selected citizens entered the Recombination Center with a mix of excitement and nervousness. A group of scientists and technicians now explained that they will be placed into special pods that would be used to extract their DNA. The pods were connected to the DNA generative computer, which would then create new, improved versions of the Citizens.
Keep Calm & Upgrade utility is only accessible to holders of Stargaze Citizens and Citizens of The Dead, and can be accessed through our website.
Participants will be able to choose from two different upgrade methods: Mutation & Upgrade.
The aim of Campaign 3, is to create more meaningful and rewarding collaborations with other projects in Stargaze.
Keep Calm & Upgrade, also is intended to act as a way for holders to create unique commissions to the PS Labs studio team, where they can receive individually crafted pieces by the PS Labs founder & head of creative, David Sheldrick, who has won numerous international imaging awards and been recognised for his skill in photoshop through an Adobe softwares sponsorship for years.
Method 1
Upgrade (Citizen Only)
Upon submission users will choose which Citizen NFT they wish to upgrade. The Recombination Centre will then create the Citizen NFT using the latest A.I Models to recreate an up-to-date version of that character.
The new Citizen will have all the exact same trait & rarity as the old citizen.
This process is best for users who wish to keep their Citizens character but would like a version of it with the latest A.I model.
NOTE: The Citizen gets burnt during this process.
Method 2
Mutation (Citizen + Selected Project)
Upon submission users will choose which Citizen NFT they wish to burn and also select a NFT from a project voted for or selected by PS Labs or the community (This NFT does not get burnt).
The new mutated citizen will have the following trait structure
Class — Mutant
Race — Whatever the new mutation is natively, for example Ape/Undead/Human
Residential Status — Project Name, for example “The Space Ape Society”
The team at the Recombination Centre will create a Citizen version of the NFT they have selected. This process is a custom commission from the user to the PS Labs creative team. Final results may vary from the original input NFT, it is not always possible to achieve every trait.
Reminder: Only the Citizen will get burnt.

Citizens will have their NFT’s airdropped to them when the process is completed. This can be anything up to 14 days after submitting a Citizen for upgrading.
The citizens were amazed by the changes that have been made to their bodies. They were stronger, faster, and more agile than ever before. The changes were not just physical; the computer had also made improvements to their minds and skillsets, giving them greater intelligence, creativity and problem solving abilities. As they left the Recombination Center, the upgraded citizens felt like they had been given a second chance at life. They were eager to put their new abilities to the test and make the most of their newfound potential.

This process will cycle every month, the method by which projects are selected may vary, and may not always be done through voting.
Projects who successfully pass governance cannot be selected again for a 3 month period (subject to change).
