A Trip to Visit the Australian Clients

As a sales manager in a contract electronics manufacturing company, I understand the importance to pay more attention to the relationship with our customers. Every year we have a schedule for visiting the clients, from Sep to Oct. On Spe 26, 2017, we flew to Australia to visit some of our old and new customers.
September 27th
Brunswick, Victoria is a very nice place, when we visited Tony, it was good weather and they were in a factory area.

Tony was very nice and told us so much, we got what the many Australian clients value when considering to work together with a circuit board manufacturer:
1. Payment: 30 days,
2. Always be good service,
3. Understand the customer’s ideas.
Tony told me these are also why he trusts us.
Along with the zero tariffs from China to Australia, we were sure we would have a win-win business with Australia in the future.
October 3rd
This time we visited a world leader of the innovative solution in fire detection and alarm system.
During the meeting, Karl asked us if we can do forecast order, he also cared about our abilities, when he heard that we can do the HDI PCB boards which exactly what he needed, he smiled a lot. In the last, we talked about payment, we agreed on “30 days after shipping firstly”. When he got that the quality is good, he would make payment.
Karl was easygoing and picked up from the hotel, and introduced us lots about Australia, which made us love Australia a lot, not only the sightseeing but also the person, the culture.
October 10th
Craig’s company located in Bulimba, it’s a city near the lake, you can’t imagine how beautiful it is. When we arrived there, it shocked us.
During the visit, Craig told them that they were about to move to a more big factory in 2019. Craig is very satisfied with our services, quality and lead time. No matter prototyping or mass production. He said our rep Sally always replied quickly to any emails and offered competitive prices.
The reason why he changed their supplier was the previous supplier shipped the wrong PN and couldn’t control the quality from time to time. When he started to place PCB order to us, he first tried the sample order, while after one year, he purchased almost all his printed circuits boards from us.
He warmly toured us in his factory and showed us his technology and their products Led lighting tour. We said we’ll continue to do our best job to support you to get more orders.
In summary, this was not an easy journey, not only for the distance and time difference but also we have to cross the cultural difference. Anyway, we tried the best to show our respects to the customers, what is gratifying is that the customers always returned us with high recognition and respects.
