I couldn’t agree more! The pattern with IE times is repeating and people, and especially web developers seem to have forgot what was back then, the monopoly that was being faced. That happening again doesn’t feel right. Chrome is a good, fast browser, but people are getting carried away with all the new nice features (including devtools) and seem to forgot what the web is all about — equality, balance, cross-platform apps.
Maybe its a good idea to mention alternatives to Chrome like Opera as well.
P.S. And not only Chrome, but also Firefox started the “revolution” (sort of).
Folks seem to forget fast.
