This Argument Against The Law of Attraction Is Invalid
Whenever people want to call bullshit on the law of attraction, they like to argue by asking “So you are saying that I can sit around home all day, everyday and magically attract million dollars/love of my life/fit body/etc?”
The trouble with that argument is that….that’s not what LOA teaches AT ALL.
One of the basic principles of LOA is that your belief, desire, and action must align. And when those three do align, magical shit can happen. Real talk.
What’s going on with the society today?
People want things they don’t believe they can or are worthy to have.
People want to do things they don’t believe that they can do. Even if they see other people do it, they will dismiss it by saying that “Oh yeah, it’s possible for them, but it’s not possible for me because (insert limiting belief).”
People do things they don’t want to do. How often is it that I go to the store and see the person working there looking like they are in the concentration camp?
I think that the majority of people live their lives doing the things that they don’t want to do, and not doing the things that they want to do. No wonder why we seem to be going insane.
Btw, here is a way to tell if someone claiming to follow or practice LOA is bullshitting. Let’s say that you have a person complaining that although he believes in LOA and he believes that he can have what he desires, he’s not attracting it. Well, what actions is he taking? What movement is there in his life that allows the energy to flow through and translate into physical component of life? If there is no movement, no action, then clearly there is something missing with the belief system.
BELIEF + DESIRE + ACTION = MAGIC
