That has nothing to do with the point I made, which concerns whether or not detection of it via long-wave radar is useful or not. It’s rivals will already be vectored in to it’s radar signature and would only need its IR signature for weapons acquisition. Its rivals will also outnumber it, and carry more AAMs. So there is a use to the long-wave radars, is the point.
