It doesn’t sound like you want compromise, sounds more like you want capitulation. Compromise would be getting rid of a policy passed on a party line vote and allowing states to manage their markets with some federal support for insurance purchases. There are a few Republicans who have refused to change the law on party line vote, which Democrats have put forth a compromise that isn’t a bailout of the existing policy? What compromises have they made on the matter?
