Puffer Mainnet Launch! A New Era for Ethereum’s Decentralization
We’ve officially launched the Puffer Mainnet, marking a monumental stride in Ethereum’s evolution. This launch, rooted in years of research and innovation in decentralized technology, is a key moment for enhancing network decentralization and resilience.
We’re inviting a diverse group of Node Operators to join us. To celebrate, Puffer is offering special incentives for early stakers and Node Operators — to be announced. Plus, we’ve deployed our 🧛to start converting stETH deposited on Puffer into ETH, reinforcing Ethereum’s long-term decentralization.
We’re finalizing a fair and efficient withdrawal solution for stakers, ensuring that our Mainnet operates seamlessly for everyone involved.
🧛 Underway
Our 🧛 has taken its first bite, converting $13.2M in stETH into ETH! This marks the initial step in our effort to support our permissionless validators on the Puffer Mainnet. Additionally, 10,006.455 stETH is now queued for redemption into ETH for Ethereum decentralization, further advancing our mission. These initiatives target the risk from the concentration of Ethereum’s staked ETH, especially under stETH, which poses risks like cartelization and manipulative MEV extraction. By reducing stETH’s dominance through multiple conversions, we’re sailing towards a more decentralized Ethereum ecosystem.
Crunchy Carrot Quest Chapter 4 Coming Soon!
As we sail into the next chapter with the launch of our Mainnet, we’re thrilled to announce that Chapter 4 of the Crunchy Carrot Quest is just around the corner!
Users can now deposit native ETH, stETH, and wstETH and look forward to a revamped points system. While we fine-tune the details, depositors can still continue earning boosted Puffer Points and EigenLayer Points through our official DeFi and Layer-2 integrations.
As a sneak peek into Chapter 4 of Crunchy Carrot Quest, we’ve announced our collaboration with Rivalz, the first AI-driven DePIN RollApp. Earn 20,000 Rivalz Points for each pufETH deposited! Rivalz will be sharing 0.5% of the total $RIZ supply through this collaboration.
EigenLayer Launch and Claim: Delegate $EIGEN for Puffer Points
Great news, Puffers! If you’re eligible for Season 1 of the EigenLayer Stakedrop, you can now claim your EIGEN tokens. But don’t just stop there — delegate your EIGEN to Puffer’s official operators and earn 1000 Puffer Points for every 100 $EIGEN staked. We’re dedicated to enhancing the ecosystem for pufETH holders. Our goal is to become a key hub for AVSs, driving growth and offering more to our users. Over the past two weeks, we’ve unveiled some fantastic collaborations:
SSV Network: SSV Network has launched a DVT on Puffer’s testnet, in collaboration with HashKey Cloud and InfStones. By leveraging Distributed Validator Technology (DVT), this initiative enhances validator reliability and broadens participation. Also known as squad staking, DVT is permissionless, enabling anyone from large institutions to small groups of friends to set up their own validator — a truly awesome use case for Puffer!
