There is hope for all

Anuradha watched the train approach, she knew this was the time, she would free herself from all her woes. She extended her foot, towards the track, her heart was throbbing, the faces………Dad’s face, Ma’s face……can she do it? The whistle of the train was becoming louder, it was almost piercing her ears. It was sort of hypnotising her & she moved further towards the tracks. Just as she was about to jump, a strong hand held her back. There was only a single whisper “there is hope for all.”
Anuradha is one of the millions of the helpless girls who have suffered from marital violence. We, the lucky ones, watch the news on television, sympathise with the victim, but do we extend our hand saying “there is hope” ? The answer, sadly, is: no. Why is it so? We talk about women empowerment, we talk of everything, but we only TALK, we don’t DO.
But there’s only a simple truth, nothing is impossible if we hold our hands and bring hope into the life of the people who need it.Lets help all the Anuradhas who are helpless. Lets make a change, lets hold hands and start a movement #thereishopeforall.
