Innovation in organic farming — Then and Now

This article is a part of my ongoing conversations with Innovators to highlight innovation as it happens in the real world, its implications on innovators and businesses, worldwide.

Change is inevitable in anything and innovation is no different. Over the last few years, there have been drastic changes that have driven us to adopt to new approaches. Technologies, business models, and trends usually drive the biggest changes in our industry.

We have dealt with this in a few ways which we would like to share with this community. We hope this is useful for fellow innovators.

An increased number of people are believing in the benefits of organic farming. Many dignified members of the society have led many movements and initiatives and have helped in overall awareness. People are understanding the future problems of chemicals and fertilizers, importance of healthy crop and land. They’re now concentrating on organic farming to work even more efficiently. Although the counting number is less for now, we are confident that the coming years will be good for organic farming.

Our digital presence and increasing general awareness in society will drive us to the best. We plan to reach more and more people, probably new ones and make them our customers. We’re even adapting new tactics of business in terms of pricing structure, making it even simpler for farmers to access, high assurance of crop yield comparatively less expenditure.

A common phenomenon within innovation is the fear of perishing. But we don’t let that affect us. We are not blind about it too. We carefully observe our ecosystem and consumers, update and upgrade ourselves with it.

What is your go-to approach?
