Far too many women, if not victims of sexual violence in general, have been, and probably still will, remain silent for the fear of victim-blaming that you sadly just did. Also, as a stranger who still has no idea what happened after reading the article, I suggest you re-read it (hint: the listing said that I will be sharing the room with the host, but he later suggested that we are also going to share the bed, which was never stated on the listing and obviously should have not been the case) and start cultivating empathy.
