“Blush” by Leon Vynehall from Rojus
1. Video Review:
Inspired by mesmerizing sounds of the Birds of Paradise, Nryn created the undulating video “Blush” for accompaniment to Leon Vynehall’s track. Chris noted that: “Leon Vynehall’s new album artwork comes to life, thanks to this feathery kaleidoscope video by UK illustrator nryn” (GorillavsBear). Marrying nature to electronic-beats, Vynehall expresses observable beauty, especially with visuals care of Nryn. David Knight said, “The animator known as Nryn has created more gorgeous, hypnotic visuals for Leon Vynehall, with this epic colour-drenched abstract work, based on the central repeated image of cascading Bird of Paradise feathers” (PromoNewsTV). Andy Beta said, “Rojus is built from a similar palette: actual bird calls, vocals that are both wordless and breathless, all of it tethered to careening, outsized drums” (Pitchfork).
