Collect, study and explore life with upside down eyes
My Thursday thoughts. Collect and explore: Do-it-yourself

I have been reading:
How to be an Explorer of the World by Keri Smith. This book is great. It is simple and concise. It is creativity at its finest: a collection of strategic ideas, beautifully placed in a book to expand your mind. A must have for your collection. By the way, the illustrations are amazing.

Thanks for the inspiration Keri.
Thursday Thoughts: Exploration
I picked up Smith’s book in a second-hand shop a couple of weeks ago. If you are ever on Amelia Island, stop by Island Treasures. You may just find your inspiration among the books and treasures inside.
One persons give-away, another persons treasure.
The whole idea of the day: Exploration. What I found? A book on exploration. It is the simple law of attraction. You ask and you shall receive as long as you don’t muck up the water.
“Keep the channels open and clear. Mud is great for blooming into the lotus you are, but not for communicating with the universe.”
Anyways, back to exploration.
I love to pick up objects and study them. Science is fascinating. You can incorporate the Scientific Method into just about anything.

Studying objects is inspiring. It opens the mind into new possibilities. New insights. New contemplation. It is creating at its simplest.

Children create new worlds all the time. I try to look at the world through my children’s eyes every day. It is positive, happy and uplifting. It is inspiring.
First Impressions
The color of their toys. Their interactions with the outside world. It is all brand new to them.
Unconditioned.
Being so utterly happy and joyful from the moment they wake to the time they lay their heads down is mesmerizing. A child’s perspective transforms you to be a better person. A child’s perspective transforms you to enjoy the moments within the moments.
Simplicity at its absolute finest.
Less-stress
Because we will never be completely stress-less, we can bring less stress into our lives. With this mindset, life is more conducive. Conducive to just being yourself.
Self-acceptance.
“Embrace the you in you. With the good in your heart and positive outlook, if it is meant to be, it will work itself out.”

Sharing this world together, united as one human to another human with the purpose of good as our intention balances out the negative.

So the next time you come across something, take a moment. Ponder the moment. Reflect on it. Write it down. Create something beautiful to give back to this world we live in. And with that, you have contributed to the balance. Collect beauty.
And as always,
Only you can change you. Stay beautiful!
