Maybe I am belong to different type of people than you. I was addicted to coffee since my childness — 13 or event 12 years old. I was drinking 3–4 cups a day, caffeine was my friend from early morning to late night. That was okay, since I started to be more distracted after one coffee, being tired all day — cannot work (I am a programmer, so I have to avoid as many distractions as I can). I have to quit caffeine — and I have done it. But it was most painful days in my life — strong headaches (I have also cluster headaches and those are lighter), nausea, sleepiness. After those days (at least 7 days) I am happy, less stressed, my sleep is better. I am not leaving coffee at all — I am just not drinking it each day at the morning, only when I have to work late or I am just tired — but if I am drinking today, I can’t drink the next day — it is an iron rule, hard line which I can’t exceed.

I am not telling anyone to quit coffee, I love to drink it all days, just look at your behavior whether you are distracted, stressed or far too aggressive. Good day everyone and thanks for such great medium article!
