I would add a few suggestions,

  • Power cycle all your network equipment (modems, routers, switches, etc) a few times a week
  • Make sure all mobile apps that are not actively being used are closed
  • Never connect to a public WiFi
  • Unless in use, turn off NFC, Bluetooth, WiFi, and any other wireless connection feature on your phone, tablet, and laptop
  • Never answer a phone call when you don’t recognize the number
  • Dedicate a separate phone/tablet/laptop for all your online banking and online purchases
