While some kids are at serious risk, I wonder why Pediatricians don’t start treating these kids…

Treating them how? It’s not like food allergies have a cure if caught early enough. Sure, some kids grow out of them, and in rare cases, some people with a mild reaction can build up tolerance, but most kids have progressively severe reactions with repeated exposures. My daughter was diagnosed before she was eighteen months old and I’ve been having to fill expensive yearly prescriptions for over nine years now. It’d be great if there were another way, but sadly, this is just life with food allergies.
