My Experience In Bootcamp So Far

It’s day four of andela bootcamp cycle 28 and I can already tell that I’m better than I was 5 days ago, the bootcamp has revealed and has corrected my flaws when it comes to programming and interpersonal relationship.

Since the past four days I’v learnt the correct use of git and git hub based on feedback from my LFA, I’v also been taught on best programming practice such as always ending my expressions with a semi-colon, naming variable properly so that they are more descriptive and proper documentation of my code. I’ve also learnt how to write test suits for my application using mocha and chai.

The most challenging experience for me in the past four days was on day three when we had to set up the backend for our application and also create the routes. This was very challenging for me because I didn’t know how to start or where to begin from, but I got the hang of it eventually and it became fun creating my API endpoints. I hit some blockers in the course of doing the project but fellow bootcampers and google where quick to help me.

My experience in the andela bootcamp so far has been that of growth because every challenge I’v encountered eventually built me up and has made me a better person.
