Year 2@PICT
Listening to Golden Moments I cherish my memories about Year2 at PICT.
Come June 22 my first day at B-4, Pratham Apartments. I see we have company. I meet Ankoo Akansha for the first time(One of my first female BFFs). Nikhil, Tejas and me embark on a new journey of living together. Roommates(or soulmates? :p) for life. Within a month we have our newest and only junior member in the form of Akshit(those FIFA references are coming soon buddy). So this one time Tejas or Akshit or Nikhil(or is it me? the old age is catching on buddy, Note to self get tested for Alzheimer :p) come up with the brilliant plan of getting some ice cream. Akshit and Tejas go on get a kilo of fresh and pure ice-cream(Mango is it?). Now here starts the trouble, the person who goes and buys doesn’t serve. So it had to be me who had to chop it into pieces. Now the reason why this is an important task is you have to chop it into equal pieces or you are stuck with the one with the smallest piece. But I did have my revenge later on.
On the college front my love for PISB grew exponentially, the only regret being Ashay and Aru didi didn’t send me to Cummins. One regret I’ll carry all my life. B-Plan was where I found passion. Ankita didi was a very important factor to this, she was always with us all the way, had lots of fun with us, gem of a person she is. Credenz came and went and here I was the only guy in IT with an attendance which would put some of the TEs to shame :p.

Soon enough, enter SEM-2, which was a period when our friendship — me, Rohan, Nishad, Tejas, Abhiraj, Sayeram and Nikhil really cemented. I also discovered the joys of binge watching — How I met your mother, Game of Thrones, Suits — u name it, I have seen it. During this time I discovered how the smallest of things you do can be fun if your friends are with you. All my life the phrase “college friendships are golden” never made sense to me, now it did.
Akshit — this guy single-handedly taught me how to play FIFA and then beat him :p. The guy is a person who respects your ass when its not worth it just because its the right thing to do.
Nikhil — taught me to life life to the fullest and to dream and to dream big.
Tejas — taught me that every challenge in life is surmountable. I believe that tomorrow if I am in a crisis I can count on Tejas to come up with a reasonable and inexpensive solution :p.
Year3 is on the way . :)
PS: Lots of love to Amruta beti xD
