final* blog post: Intro to what you’ll read here… It’s been a great run fellas
So the quarter is coming to an end… Truthfully, I’m pretty burnt out from all my meaningless classes, well my one meaningless class. But definitely not this one. I am so very sad to see sportswriting WRD 284 end! Every Tuesday morning I woke up knowing I had something to look forward to at 9:40. I am genuinely sad to see this class end, it was a blast.
But enough with that saccharine stuff, I’ll get on to the point of this post… This is supposed to be my last blog post for this blog… but I’m a little convinced I’ll continue to write about my ideas and opinions about thing that happen in the sports world. But here’s an intro to this blog.
The work in this blog in mostly a collection of weekly blog posts, which are essentially responses to readings we were assigned as a class throughout the week. In these weekly readings, I picked up on themes from them that I thought were worth talking about.
Other things you’ll find here are the “big” pieces that were assigned in this sportswriting class, which were: the sports column, the gonzo humor piece, the nonfiction profile, and the multimodal argument.
In advanced, this is me apologizing for my gonzo piece, definitely not my best piece but I tried my best. And although I didn't get an A on this piece, I think my nonfiction sports profile is a heartwarming story, take a look at that one. And my sports column was a fun one to write, and somehow people on this website actually found it an “recommended” it. Technology is amazing.
So please feel free to leave your comments and questions on here, feedback is welcome. I hope you enjoy my work! Deuces and truces!
