Thank you for your comment. I do agree that car ownership will be reduced. The number of cars, however, especially during rush hours, could actually increase, as people would prefer to use AVs instead of public transport.

It takes the same number of cars to move 100 people by private cars, taxis, Uber, or AVs. The difference with AVs is that everyone can use them, including the ones without a license.
