The dangers of delightful design

I totally agree with you, John, that going down the delightful design path is a tricky one to navigate and get just right.

There is just one thing I would disagree with and that is that the use of delightful design in bigger brands. Sure it won’t capture each and everyone of us but can distinguish them from their competitors and thereby really speak to that niche market they are ultimately after rather than being just another brick in the wall
