I tried VSCode when it first came out and did not like it. After using Sublime, Atom and WebStorm I am back on VSCode and am loving it. WebStorm crashed too many times for me and the indexing was killing me, but the ability to debug in it is much better. Atom just did weird things for me when switching branches and seemed slow and sluggish. Sublime was just not my favorite and I forget why, that is how long ago I’ve stopped using it. VSCode is fast and works well if it is setup right. Most of our department is using VSCode, I have not heard to many negative things at all.
