I wasn’t going to add my voice to the crowd, but I kept coming back to this. First, not just for women. There is good advice here for everyone.

Second, a diverse team means that you can design and build products for a much wider swath of humanity. All too often, homogeneous teams build for people just like them (I’m talking about you, Uber).

Third, despite all of the publicity surrounding the ill treatment of women in tech (especially Silicon Valley), why don’t things seem to be improving? I’ll offer a reason — hubris. (or, “that’s not us” or “we can’t be bothered to be PC”)
