Uber’s path forward
Garrett Camp

Uber, and Mr. Camp, and most especially Mr. Kalanick, care only because the world became aware of their failings, and disapproved. If this were sincere, this and much more would have happened long ago, without the publicity. Instead, it is a transparent and insincere attempt to win back favor, not to change at all. I could go on, but the bottom line is that while Uber did some good things in upending an industry that needed it (and Uber is a taxi, not a ride sharing; they still lie about that one), it is a bad, bad company.
