We all know or should know, about Medium rules and what we can and can not do as writers. We all also know how perfectly good writers got caught in the web woven by automatic tools that keep an eye on us. Remember the “big purge” at the beginning of March?

A man entangled in ropes. Not knowing what is happening to him.

Although the Reasons for Suspensions or Restrictions are, in my eyes, very clear we still see writers being banned for no obvious reason. That is what happened to my friend Francisco Iglesias. He wrote about it using a second account, @idealworldtry, which he already had.

In short, what happened? He invented a way to write text on Medium using links to many other writers which made the whole text become green. It seems that Medium, and maybe some other writers, do not like such behavior. He got punished with a ban. Still waiting for reinstatement.
