Chatbots Help Reduce Customer Service Costs and Make More Productivity
My previous article, I’ve mentioned about to create chatbot for for lower-skilled workers who seeking factory jobs in Myanmar. Before developing a chatbot for that project, we entertained factory workers to ask their basic information, education level and all required information to store our database manually and find matching jobs for them by Facebook Messenger. At that time, only two customer service people could not ask all factory workers to ask their information by time because of over 200 people come and chat with us every day, we cannot entertain them in every weekend and we didn’t have enough budget to hire more people as startup project. Our customer service department can entertain only 30% of each conversation and find a matching job for them. Due to those kind of inconveniences, our project manager had an idea to transform human to chatbot.

That’s why I’m about to develop chatbot for our project to find a job over 200 factory worker everyday. After transforming, our chatbot can entertain 100% of every conversation and find matching jobs for them without every 1 second delayed and no more customer service staff to be hired for our project anymore.

For our future, I strongly believe that those kind of jobs will be replaced by bot to handover from human so far.
