We’re excited to give you a glimpse of what we’ve been working on. Our program is almost ready, and it’s packed with a variety of talks, workshops, and keynote sessions. Here’s what you can expect:

1. Selection Process and A Big Thank You

Hey everyone, let’s dive into how we got our fantastic PyCon PH 2024 lineup. From an impressive 93 proposals, our dedicated review team narrowed it down to 27. Imagine all the discussions and cups of coffee that went into picking the best for you! That’s nearly 20 hours of Python content right there.

2. Initial List of Speakers

The “Gabay” (guiding lights) of our event are, of course, the speakers.

We’re thrilled to present a wide array of talented individuals, spanning not only the Philippines and the wider Asia/APAC region but also including experts from the US.

We’ve got some hands-on sessions where you can really get into the action. Fancy creating your own game? We’ve got a workshop on game programming with Ren’py. Want to know what makes Python tick? There’s a session on Python’s internals. And for those who like solving problems, we’ll be exploring automated testing with Behave. These workshops are perfect if you want to boost your Python skills and start using them in real-life projects. It’s going to be fun and super practical!
