My prediction was right! The Super Bowl destroyed the previous stadium data record!
I predicted in my eWeek column last week that Super Bowl 50 would more than double the previous record for fan use of data at a sports event.

The previous record was set at last year’s super bowl — 6.2 terabytes. I predicted that this year it would exceed 15 terabytes.
As +Chris Preimesberger demonstrates in this column, it did in fact blow past the 15 terabyte mark.
