So how would I define myself as a student?

I provided academics, extracurriculars, and location of school as several broad categories that impact student life, and one question seems to provide a simple explanation when I just focus on academics: what classes did I take?

I acquiesce that the answer to this question is an incomplete definition. I already mentioned some of the factors outside of academics that impacted my time as a student, and I’d argue that the classes on my transcript don’t even provide a full picture of my academic life.

But for simplicity’s sake, I will just provide the names and numbers of the 28 different classes that I completed at MIT. I will describe the official classes that I took during my 8 semesters as an undergrad, and the requirements that I fulfilled with each.

Fall 2020

8.02 — Physics II

14.009 — Economics and Society’s Toughest Problems

14.01 — Principles of Microeconomics (HASS-S)

18.02 — Calculus

24.06 — Bioethics (HASS-H, CI-H)

An estimate of my freshman fall schedule. Students can schedule their classes online using a website called Hydrant, but the earliest semester it records is fall 2022.
