Hi All, I am a salaried employee and has a home which is self occupied. I dont stay in the city where my house is. I intend to take another house, again in the city where I dont live. Will banks give me loan for second house? Can I add up interest component of EMI of both the houses and claim full deduction from my taxabale income? Here I undertsand that principle cannot be claimed more than 1 lac. Correct me if I am wrong? Last can banks extend the tenure of the existing homeloan, so that monthly EMI goes down?

Hello, I have an investment property that I have had on the market for a year as a short sale. It was originally my residence, but then I moved out, got married, had 4 kids and have a primary home now. Lost tenants and my job and had to accept lower pay and with the 4 kids, can’t afford the second mortgage. I have had great offers, but the bank has rejected all of them. (6 total). Their appraisal has come back three times 30k over what they are selling for. Anyways, they rejected all the offers and closed my file. I had no other option but to file for a deed in lieu of foreclosure with the bank. I won’t know if that is approved for 30 days. But what does this mean? Will I be looking at a huge deficiency or judgement? I can’t afford either. Should I file bankruptcy now?””

They make you give them your bank account information nowadays and they just take it out like you would get a direct deposit… Except instead of a deposit it’s a direct debit by them. He said that he can only save 800 dollars plus what we have to pay for his services and court costs. In June of 2008, my fiance bought our car, a 2000 Camry, from his mother. He told me he received the pink slip from her. Registration was paid through this December. As we need to register the car in our name now, I went looking for the title and could not find it. My fiance says he must have lost it so he asked his mother to get a new title. When she tried to get a new title, they told her there was a lien on the car. The car has been paid off for several years now. Why would there suddenly be a lien on a car that has been paid off and a title already given? Hi All, I am at a decision point where I would like to refinance my current 30 year home mortgage to 15 years. So here is my situation: In August 2010, I bought a house at lower 300K and paid 10%+ down, thus having PMI over $100+/month. Taking a 290K loan, I have been paying $1900/month for almost 1.5 years till now. My credit score is 770 and the APR is 4.75%, again, it is a traditional fixed rate 30-year loan. My questions are: 1). Do I have to make a down payment in order to get the 15-year refinance? 2). Assuming I will make a down payment, does it have to be 20% of the loan amount (e.g. 290K * 0.2 = 58K) in order to waive the PMI? 3). I plan to make the move in this Fall, is it a good time to do it? 4). Although I would love to keep things simple, life doesn’t always go my way. I also plan to buy a second car (it is a must for the family) in a month or two. Financially it is feasible but is it going to tarnish my credit score so badly that I won’t have the same, if not better, credit score as I do now (770)? For the car I will need a loan too but will pay a 55% down and put the rest on a 3-year auto loan. Thank you for reading my questions.””

How do I dispute something on my credit report?
I just pulled up my credit report and found that there are many different items listed as delinquent. However, several of these are medical bills and should have been paid by my insurance. This is a problem I ran into constantly while living in Pennsylvania (I now reside in New York). The emergency room would bill me and then a separate bill would be generated to cover the services of the emergency room doctor who treated me. Evidently the billing department for the hospital would never update my insurance info for the billing department used for the doctors and I would be sent a separate bill for that. Another frequent problem I ran into was that my primary insurance would be billed but not my secondary. One of these is actually a bill for ambulance service! I know that all of this is covered by my insurance (I have medicare primary and medicaid as secondary) Obviously I will contact the collection agencies now in charge of these items as well as the original medical facilities but my question is how can I reverse the negative impact these have made on my credit report. I have pretty bad credit as it is (about 495) but I’m trying to do what I can now to improve it. I don’t feel I should be penalized because of someone else’s poor record keeping. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Also, does anyone know how resolving outstanding debt affects your credit score. In other words how quickly will my credit score improve or how many points can I expect to earn back as I begin to pay off these debts. I was told by someone that I should try not to settle as this will be noted on my report as well and does not look as good as paid in full””””. Is there someplace where you can get a loan if you are in bankruptcy?
My husband and I had a great credit score. We could get a loan for anything a home, cars. Then 5 years ago we had the worst 2 years ever. We lost 4 family members to cancers, with huge medical bills, I lost my job due to the recession, my husband was out of work due to 2 shoulder surgeries from a work injury and we separated and filed for divorce. (we have reconciled). We ultimately had to file for bankruptcy. We have 20 months left on a 60 month agreement with a trustee/attorney.
