In theory, yes, true we will have more time on our hands, but this hardly pertains to everyone. People will lose their livelihoods and we aren’t ready to retrain them in other jobs or teach them how to pursue their passions. And what if their passions are destructive? What of the poor fools who will still be moping around waiting for Donald Trump to be Jesus while the robot ferries them around? Not needing a human driver won’t change shit in these respects.
