Scholarship season is about to begin very soon. Many among us aspiring for foreign education and better opportunities in life must be anxious. I know this because once I was in your place looking at placements, applying to different universities and hunting for scholarships. Menstrual Hygiene Day is observed around the world on May 28. In Pakistan, this day generally passes in silence except for some International Governmental Organizations events. Why? Discussion of menstrual health is a taboo subject in the country, as it is in other regions of the world.

This needs to change.
