Part 1: Flow chart of an app/website of your choice

Please refer to this link to have a clearer view of the above flowchart. The flowchart is rather complex, as there are various aspects to each part of the website. However, I chose this so that I can gain some ideas for my Study Buddy website.

Part 2: Flowchart of Study Buddy Website

Moving on, I will be showing a draft flowchart of my Study Buddy website.

Purpose & Goal

Study Buddy aims to encourage students to be productive by managing their time.

Hence, the ultimate objective of the page is to get students to sign up for an account. To accomplish this target, the page should lead the users the right way. Some of the requirements to achieve this include leading the users to explore the features and student discount plans.

What users want from the website

The target audience (students) would want to look out for:

  • What Study Buddy can offer & test out how it works
  • The features that might help them to keep track & manage their time better (Progress Tracker)
  • The aesthetics/feel of the Scenarios and Progress Tracker
  • The pricing plans — the criteria and price for a student plan

Draft of the Workflow

Please refer to this link to have a clearer view of the draft flowchart.

Simplified Conversion Funnel

As the main objective of the website is to allow potential users who would like to explore the features, with the number of sign-ups being the conversion funnel, the simplified funnel can be seen below.
