What do you feel normally when you accidentally close a tab that you are working on in Visual Studio Code? Do you normally manually open the file again? If so, please keep reading.

Have you ever tried the Chrome reopen tab feature? If so, you already know how to do the same in VS Code!

The shortcut is

1. ctrl+shift+t (windows)
2. cmd+shift+t (mac)
