… I agree there are important topics to debate about colonizing Mars, but absolutely none of them should use pop fiction as a point of reference, because in this context none of them are based on anything that’s real. Just artists’ imagination. Not that I am advocating corporate control of anything.

Let’s inform our debate with known facts and if we don’t have enough of them, instead of making guesses and assumptions, let’s go get some more facts until we can speak intelligently on the issues.
