When I’m 64
Hawkeye Pete Egan B.

Thanks for this article. I identify with it. My 60s have been my best decade. I worked until age 67 at a job I really liked, but I had been saying since 65, “You know, I think it’s time.” A few age related infirmities have caught me up, and I’m pretty stiff when I first get up, but nothing devastating. I just made 5th Kew in Aikido and I still bike everywhere, so I’m not going to complain. Like a said to one old church lady who commented about my standing up and clapping and singing along at a Gospel music event, “As long as the Lord keeps giving me the strength to get up off my rusty dusty, I’ll get up and praise him!
