I’ve read my voter guide so you don’t have to — November 2015 edition, San Francisco
Todd Berman

You did watch that entire candidate forum, right? While Amy is an excellent candidate, neither Herrera nor Stuart came through as viable candidates. The former lacked any real vision or substance and the latter, well…Stuart doesn’t take the role seriously. Amy’s done a great job of forming an alliance with the two of them to expand her demographic and garner more votes. I think that’s the only reason they’re in the race.

If you really want your vote to matter, include Reed Martin on that short list. He’s the only candidate who’s putting forth a real vision of a beautiful future (see grandsf.org), and he came through that forum looking knowledgeable and eloquent. Amy may have passion, but a transformative leader has vision, and Reed’s got that in spades.
