Equinor Plans to Ramp Up Brazil Oil Output More Than Fivefold
Norwegian energy giant Equinor is planning to boost oil production in its Brazil operations by more than fivefold over the next decade, while also looking at renewable energy projects with a focus on offshore wind power. The company aims to ramp up output to more than 500,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boed) by 2033 from the current production of nearly 90,000 boed.
