Women are most likely to abuse and neglect children, they tend to be the primary caretakers. The failure of many men to be present fathers — physically and emotionally- is often dismissed as part of culture instead of a simultaneously injurious context for child development.
These issues are very complex and begin long before adult relationships. I agree with a lot of what you say. I also see many women complicit in maintaining a relationship with men that looks more like mommy/son than it does 2 partners.
Boys for generations were not socialized to use each other to sort through emotional issues like many girls were. They may have less practice talking through problems. Entitlement is a byproduct of insecure attachment and that’s found in people of all kinds.
