creepy vibe

since starting my project I’ve:

• gone somewhere every day + i think i’ve taken some cool shots
• met some insanely cool photographers who’ve either offered help or support — won’t shout ’em all out but you’re all rockstars + thank you
• spent all my eth on buying photos + art because it’s so cool being in that space and inspiring to see all the cool shit i used to ignore. NFTs are more than just cartoon pfps, it turns out (no disrespect to doodles + doodles only)
• become disillusioned with how insanely craven people in the space are — real web2 shitty vibes. a lot of people are so brazen with the “pay attention to me,” “spend your eth on me,” etc vibes and it really sucks a lot of the fun out of it.

so what does that mean for what i’m doing? well, i have run out of liquid eth and don’t want to buy any more (until it retraces), and people do their craven thing with mints anyway so…even though it is counter to my original plan, life’s about adapting, fuck it we ride.

• running four mints for my birthday month (starting Jan 30)
• my four favourite shots so far
• i turn 37 but .037 is too expensive for an OE from an amateur photographer and .0037 is too cheap, so i doubled it to .0074 (HOLY FUCK MY BODY IS TURNING TO DUST EVERY SECOND THAT PASSES)

if they do well, cool! will keep buying art with that eth, tyfys. will do it again someday, maybe once a month.

if they don’t do well, also cool! not gonna change the vibe for me, will keep doing my 1/day as originally planned either way.
