A First Amendment For Social Platforms

Trolls have a fundamental right to say what they wish. It is important to allow people to express how they truly feel on open forums without censor, otherwise we wouldn’t be able to understand the true sentiments of people, and thereby gauge how to make ideological progress come to fruition, and if it has come to fruition, how it is being truly received.

As for harassment, that will never stop. Trying to censor that is moot. We don’t want to police the internet just because a few people have low self esteem. However, if it targets a specific person, and is continually targeted, that’s when the victim can report the violator and have administrators step in.

Power to the people. Allow them to take action into their own hands. Let’s not turn everything social network into a policed oligarchy.

By the way Buzz feed, did you know that pre-contemporary internet didn’t allow companies to profit? Guess you’re jeopardizing the future of freedom other than this foolish article.
