In person drop of resume and cover letter is an interesting experience. I wanted to apply as internee for the post of Retail Pharmacist. Before doing that I thoroughly researched the company and its organization. I prepared a customized cover letter and resume according to the position. To approach the HR manager was not tough. While doing so, I was professionally dressed and fully prepared. I met him and handed him over my customized in-person resume and cover letter. To deliver the elevator pitch was not easy as I was a little bit anxious and nervous. I tried to overcome my nervousness through different techniques and went on explaining everything with passion and confidence. It went well and I am sure that I will get a job.

It was a great learning experience as it ended my hesitation and nervousness. Next time I will try to do some more research and will work on my body language as well, as I think it needs some further improvement.
