Practicing Happiness to Boost your Success

I am writing this blog on how to increase our happiness and positivity and how was the experience after practicing the tips which were explained by the Shawn Achor.

Once I have struggled with the negative thoughts. When i got admission in PU for the Masters degree. I was very excited at the beginning but after some days I was quite depressed and had negative thoughts that i cannot complete this degree. Because here in Punjab University, students are more competitive and intelligent than me. This inferiority complex was getting increased day by day that I am the most dull student in class and cannot survive more. So i should quit and go back home. But at that time my family gave support me and encouraged me that you can do that’s why you got admission there.

If I heard about these tips of Shawn Achor before I would definitely apply this.

I can apply two tips from Shawn Achor which are :

  1. Bring Gratitude to Mind: It would give me more positivity and happiness if I think about my admission that I was the only girl from my city who got admission in Applied Psychology.
  2. Meditate: If I meditate for two minutes each day then I would realize that how much potential I have what are the things which differentiate me from others.

After practicing these tips my feeling was quite changed that wao it works a lot in giving you happiness and positivity.
