The Benefits of Riding Bikes
Easily commuting is another benefit of riding bikes. Except living in a densely populated city, bicycling inside a small town is both convenient and enjoyable. I don’t need to worry about the parking, and I’m free to view the natural and cultural environment along roadsides. Before I started riding a bike, I took buses for commuting. But because of their fixed time schedule and routes, it doesn’t seem beneficial to rely on this kind of transportation tool. The alternative is riding a bike. The time for commuting is a bit longer, though, it doesn’t bother much, especially when I can control the time easily. One day, I even got rewarded at time earning when I could ride at a normal speed, passing through a long line of stopped cars in front of a road block. The guy working for stop-and -go sign nicely signaled me to pass without stop. While the cars were waiting for the permit to pass, I rode forward, with all those four-wheel iron stuff left behind. What an experience that I could ride “faster” than the cars!
