Party and alcohol it’s a trendy trend to a cool lifestyle, but alcohol consumption must be in a limited quantity or else it can have severe effects on the body and mental health. Of course, different people have different causes of alcohol consumption but in most cases, that eventually leads to alcoholism and substance abuse.

In this era, still, some people choose to be sober. Some people on a sobriety journey may be because of experience due to alcoholism or some people grew up with less exposure to it or cultural boundaries.

Sobriety may look boring but in reality, it is not easy, especially maintaining it for a longer period. Sobriety is considered a good health ethic to follow. Even if you are sober, your body naturally tends to fall sick no matter how healthy your lifestyle is, but that’s when you get a reality check of your body health. Whether you have undergone major surgery or just a normal cold or cough a lot of extra things would have happened later but it was well prevented due to your good health habits and practices. Your body has the capability or strength to tolerate the trauma, and to handle the stress because of healthy habits.

Sobriety and its effect are very internal. Mental health will be stable, metabolism won’t be disturbed, as a result, low-stress level, or greater power to handle stress and manage routine life. As internally your body is working properly so gradually you will see the changes externally. Not necessarily you will see the impact on the external level, but the internal processing helps us to have a healthy life. It makes you disciplined and gives you a sense of selflessness, a sign of stable emotional and mental health.

Sobriety, yoga, exercises, good sleep, and healthy eating habits will help prevent mental stress and maintain suitable physical activities.

Remember it all starts with you! You could be a great or the worst inspiration, motivation, or idol to your daughter, kids, friends, family, or somebody who looks up to you.

To all sober people, you are respected! Your dedication, ethic, and hard work are respected.

As you go easy on yourself, sobriety act as one of the greatest and kindest moves toward self-love.
