FIFA 22 error on Xbox

In FIFA 22 I played Career mode and created a Save game so i could continue playing later on.

That’s when I ran into the annoying problem that it suddenly couldn’t find and load my (or any) previously saved game. Creating a new Career mode save game no longer worked as well, the menu would shortly show and disappear without saving. The error i got was “You need to activate your profile to be able to perform this action”.

Here is how I was able to fix this issue:

1. Start up Fifa 22
2. On the title screen, go to Customize and select Profile
3. In the Profile screen, go to Profile Manager. Select the profile you used before. on Xbox, press the A button on your controller and then select Change Profile. Verify that your profile is logged in. Return to the Profile manager settings by pressing the B button on your controller.
4. Select Load Fifa 22 profile. It’ll ask you <gamertag, would you like to load your personal settings file?”. Select Yes.
5. Return to the title menu by pressing B two times on your controller.

Now, when you press Continue Career on the title menu, it should find your save game you played with before!
