History of Begum Shahi Mosque

Begum Shahi Mosque (Urdu: بیگم شاہی مسجد‎), formally The Mosque of Mariyam Zamani Begum (Urdu: مریم زمانی بیگم کی مسجد‎), is a mid seventeenth century mosque arranged in the Walled City of Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. The mosque was worked somewhere in the range of 1611 and 1614 during the reign of Mughal Emperor Jahangir out of appreciation for his mom. It is Lahore’s most punctual enduring illustration of a Mughal-period mosque,[1][3]and affected development of the bigger Wazir Khan Mosque years and years after the fact.
